Yoga is an Art and Science of healthy living. It is a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science, which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. The holistic approach of Yoga is well established and it brings harmony in all walks of life and thus, known for disease prevention, promotion of health, and management of many lifestyle-related disorders. Today, Yoga is popular across the globe, not just because of its efficacy in the management of some diseases, but also of its strength in providing relief to the practitioner, from mental and emotional distress and providing a feeling of well-being.

Here, we will learn what Yoga really is, how it originated, its benefits and the practice of Yoga through Asanas.

Meditation activates the chakras and awakes us up from the dormant lives we have been leading all these days.

We will practice 20 minutes of meditation every day and open our life’s doors to immense strength, contentment, positivity and bliss!

And, I know that for many of us learning and mastering Bhagavad Gita has been an unaccomplished dream so far.

The Bhagavad Gita explains all of these in the form of conversations between Lord Krishna and Arjuna. It has the solutions and the guidance for our everyday lives.

Practicing and understanding one verse per day, we can not only learn the Gita completely but also get answers to our questions and solutions to our problems.

Learning one verse won’t be difficult to us at all.

Principles to follow:

  1. We will apply the 365-1=0 principle for Yoga and 365-1=0 principle for meditation; that means even if we miss a day (out of 365 days in a year) without practicing Yoga or meditation it is equal to practicing the same for 0 days.
  2. The 1-verse-(with-meaning-and-chanting)-a-day challenge for #700 days, for learning Bhagavad Gita.

That is, even if we forget/procrastinate to learn 1 verse a day, it will mean we have not done the practice/learning for even a single day in a month and we will be back to square one, that is, to Day 1. An excel sheet with our names and progress will be attached. It will be an inspiration for each one of us from the other, to practice/learn every day. Even the thought of procrastinating would then not enter into our minds. Come on friends, we can do this.

Let us make good use of this pandemic and accomplish our dream to learn Yoga, meditation and the Bhagavad Gita.
